    Hey Guys,

First time starting a thread. I bought a 2013 Double Cab Tacoma last fall and have been running it stock since. Had a moment of weakness and almost traded it for a 2011 Wrangler. I realized I could never, but I needed to give it some updates.

Hoping for recommendations on a solid 3" lift and wheels and tires size recommendations. It won't be used for off-roading, just aesthetics at this time. Budget is a major factor as I work a commission-only job. Was looking at a 4 Wheel Parts to do the work here in Memphis. If ya'll could give me some direction, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm posting a few Tacomas below that I love the look of for reference.

You could get some toytec spacers for the front and blocks in the rear for less than $100, if you are pretty savvy with the tools you could do the work yourself in a couple of hours. Go buy a torque wrech and use the torque spec guide in the technical chat section for all the torque specs for the bolts. Drive around for 200 miles or a tank of gas and re-torque all the bolts. Good to go.

That bottom pic looks stock to me, doesn't look like it's lifted at all. The top is probably coilovers if 4wd or spindles / coils if 2wd.

Here's another one that gives me a taco boner.

You can see what style I'm after.

If you go up to 3" you'll most likely need UCAs, and they're not cheap. $400-600. Some people get away without needing them up to 2.5", but most need them.

Bilstein 5100's and AALs will get you a lift at a decent price. They alone won't get you to 3" however.

I guess to be a little clearer, I anticipate somewhere in the neighborhood of $800 for the lift and installation, if that helps recommendations.

The front I have Bilstein 5100s set at 1.75 on sport springs. The rear I just have a 1" block. I had an aal on my last tacoma, but i didn't like the harshness of the ride. If I was going for a bigger rear lift I'd probably go for a new leaf pack.
