Am I Missing Something?

I've had my 14 DCLB TRD Sport for about 3 weeks now. After looking at a lot of pics here and reading the manuals front to back 10 times, I'm wondering if I didn't get a few things that maybe should have come with my truck.

I've seen small stretchy nets in both the center storage box and behind the rear seat that I don't have.

Anything else that should have come with it? The only "loose" items I got were 4 bed rail attachments, a flashlight holder and two plastic book end type wedges for the rear storage.

The reason I'm asking is I just got the survey and they're begging me to give all 10s. I'm a little miffed that I didn't get the auto-dim rear view mirror with compass and temp (it was in the catalog they gave me when I ordered it, but mysteriously not when I came back 6 weeks later to pick it up). I want to know if there is anything else I need to ask for before completing the survey.

 

You got everything I got, I gave all 10's to my dealer.

That is how the rear view mirror comes, I love mine.

 

Look at your window sticker ... as far as the mirror goes ... for that matter I neved "used" the auto dimmer on my '10 due to the tinted rear window ... it contained the back up screen so I guess I did "use" it ... my '14 does not have it and I'm okay with that.

 

I really enjoy my auto dimming mirror. I would be pretty miffed if my truck didnt have it considering the price of these trucks.

 

I don't have a leg to stand on with the mirror. I learned my lesson on this one. I picked the TRD Sport package but didn't itemize what came in the package. Like I said, the catalog they gave me the day I placed the order says it should have the mirror. The day I picked it up (I didn't bring the catalog with, of course) I asked to see a catalog and it was suddenly not listed in the TRD Sport package anymore. Nothing was listed on the window sticker. They just stared at me silently when I asked about it.

I won't hold it against them. It's Toyota Corporate's fault. It just made me wonder about other stuff...like I have the tow package, but didn't get a 7 to 4 adapter plug with it. My previous 2 vehicle purchases came with a plug. Not Toyota?

So where do you get those storage nets from? Other than the dealership.

 

The V6 tow package comes with 7 pin connector ... two coolers ... better alt and battery ... trailer sway control and class iv hitch ... once again look at your window sticker ... enjoy your ride.

 

I have a 13 TRD Sport with the JBL navigation mine had the dimming compass mirror and the net behind the seat with the sub woofer, there was no net in the center storage or 7 pin to 4 adaptor, I also had a 05 TRD Sport and it didn't come with trailer hitch adaptor either.

 

Okey dokey. I guess I got what I got. Thanks for confirming it. If I get a couple hundred ahead, I plan to hit up Bob's Mirrors for a Gentex. I already pulled the wires from the head liner.

 

Yea hit up Bob for a mirror. I got one for my 2014 installed yesterday. Homelink, with compass and white map light.

 

Is there a part number for the net that goes behind the rear seat? I'd like to pick one up but can't find it in any catalogs?

 

OP...I too have a 4-week old TRD Sport. Same stuff, or lack there of, as you have.
I looked at the window sticker and all is on the up and up.
