I am considering the Roll and Lock as a bed cover for my 2015 Tacoma TDR Sport. Just wanted opinions and to see if they rattle.

I had a Pace Edwards on my last truck (non Toyota). It rattled going over bumps and on washboard roads loud enough for me to close the rear slider. If I adjusted the slides tighter then the top would be hard to open and close, especially if it was hot and in the sun. Also, it wasn't fully water tight and the canister would fill up with water due to leaves collecting in the canister. For the Tacoma, I went with a trifold cover as the canister in a hard roll top is fairly big taking up too much space for me. The short bed is short enough already...

I had a Pace Edwards, Roll-N-Lock, and a Rollbak on trucks in the past. I never really noticed them rattling...leaking, yes, but not rattling.

I have the "BAK Industries R15407 RollBak G2 Aluminum Hard Retractable Tonneau Bed Cover" for my 2012 long bed and it doesn't rattle enough for me to notice with the window open.
My complaint with it is it's made from Aluminum and it can roll into it's canister if fully opened when driving. Not the best construction.
Still very happy with it though.

Found it on Amazon for cheap.

I had a Roll-N-Lock installed on my 07 AC Tacoma years ago. Asked the dealer "Does it rattle?". He said "Not really". Well, with the sliding rear window open, it does, some. In heavy rain it will leak a bit around the edges. Despite those two shortcomings I loved it and got a lot of compliments. After a young twit broadsided that truck and totaled it I got a 12 AC Tacoma. First thing I did was order a new Roll-N-Lock and installed it myself. Still very happy with it. Sure, it takes up a bit of room at the front of the bed, but I can still slide a 4x8 piece of plywood in under the canister.
