Gotcha....I personally prefer the look without a cap, but they are so damn functional, that I don't really care. The cap looks less dorky now that it's lifted & on bigger wheels/tires.

I lucked into a smoking deal on mine. I almost bought a gray truck because I figured it would be easier to find a used cap. Last minute decided to get the red truck & likely buy a new cap. Couple days after I got the truck, I went to the cap dealer & caught him as he was closing. Couldn't put a deposit on one. Checked Craigslist that night & a guy 2 hours from me posted exactly what I was looking for. ARE CX with carpet headliner, led lights, roof rack, lift up side windows, tilt slider....and it was the right color. He had bad credit & had to buy his truck I his moms name...mom stopped making payments so his truck was getting repo'ed. Bought the cap, bedrug & weathertech mats (almost $3500 worth of gear) for $1000. And I didn't have to wait. Really lucked out on it!

Ok, so it’s been forever since I have posted to TW, so I thought I’d update everyone. Since my last post, I have added an ARB Bull Bar, Warn VR10 winch, Rigid SR2 10” light bar in the hood scoop, and BAMF weld on sliders.

When the ARB and winch were new:

here is my 2011 DCLB 4x4 in my absolute favorite color! I had a 2005 in Impulse red and I absolutely loved it but this color is 10x better!

Also if anyone is interested I want to swap all my chrome pieces for color matched! That means the grill and rear bumper, color match door handles and side mirrors, and even a scooped hood! If anyone is interested let me know please through PM!

Nice Build! Glad to see that you get dirty once and a while, and out for a little camping too. I think the Barcelona Red has the most character of the colors, and cleans up magnificently. Stuff those tars!

Very nice! I was going to buy the Super White, but now I'm leaning toward the Barcelona Red!

Any chance you could get a medium range photo of the entire truck? Im looking to add the Homertaco grille also and wanted to see how the colormatched grille looked overall.

Nice ride. How did you mount the light bar on the OEM roof rack? does it affect functionality of the roof rack?

There was a custom bracket that was made in order to mount it to the oem roof rack it doesn't affect functionality however it does pick up a lot of wind noise. Not over extreme I kinda of already gotten used to it.
