Yesterday I passed a Mustang that blew up. The whole exhaust system was laying on the pavement. I am guessing it blew the exhaust manifolds right off. I wonder if the driver hit the wrong gear on an upshift headed to the on ramp? One of my best friends did that in his Supra. He went to shift 3rd to 4th and hit 2nd at about 70 mph. I saw fluid flowing in to my lane and figured it was just coolant. I parked in my driveway and get out and see oil dripping off my drivers side mud flaps and on my driveway. I had fogotten about the Mustang and popped the hood thinking I had an oil leak somewhere. Took me a couple of minutes to figure it out. Looks like I will need a can of engine cleaner.

    "Danger to Manifold!!!"

Buddy of mine kicked the rods out the side of a 3.0 toyota 6 screwing around with a 150 shot. Almost wadded the truck up and made a hell of an oil slick. 5.5 quarts of oil doesn't sound like a lot until it is spread all over the ground.

Yesterday I was at the bank before I went to pick up my 4x4 beach access permit and saw this guy. When he finished taking all of $20 out of the ATM he proceeded to rev the engine to at least 5k, before peeling out of the parking spot and eventually the whole lot. Maybe they're friends?

There's something about Mustang owners. thanks to shows like street outlaws, everyone thinks their old fox body is made of gold. I grabbed this from a local FB group page today:

All I gotta say is not only is the top a letdown, so is the rest of the car if you pay $3750 for it.

YOOOO, that thread on the Suzuki forum a few years back was fucking hilarious. I remember all of the other brand forums registering accounts just for the hell of it. Good times.

    got it; http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=226570

    Fucking gold.

My mustang is the reason I'm on this forum lol. Ford screwed me out of a clutch at 9,000 miles on my GT500.

Now I'm voting them off my island.

Similar situation, but my Ford was a 2013 SHO. Had lingering front end issues and Ford couldn't get it right after numerous attempts. Wound up trading it in for a loss at 20k miles. I still think Ford makes solid trucks but I'll never buy another Ford car, ever.

That really sucks. Their customer service has really gone down the drain.

One of the guys (kid who thought he was still in HS) in my platoon had a GT. Tried to show off for some teenage girls, dropped it into 2nd going 90. Yeah, that car was totaled.
Another guy in my company got drunk one night at a party (he was 20 at the time), and was driving a dude home in his nice black GT. Ended up crashing it going over 100. He survived, passenger did not. He didnt believe us when we told him that he would be going to jail. Atleast until the MPs and sheriff came to our barracks with our 1SGT.
