    Snugtop Xtravison on order....

(looking at Toyota.com the only wheel package I see without getting and entire package is the "beadlocks". They want 2k for those wheels)

The black 16" alloys I got were only $450 to my door

I don't get your point, those are TRD wheels off a TRD. So I should have gotten a 3500 package and sold the wheels for less than a grand? Then bought new wheels for 450?
Go try to buy those wheels at a dealership. Ill buy them for you if they are less than they go for on Ebay.

Those are the wheels that were 2k a dealer.
    Buy for 2k
    Sell for 1k
    buy new wheels for 450

Your right. What he said makes zero sense. Congrats on a nice new truck and a color matched grille ready to go.

What wheels did you buy for $450? You didn't post a pic, so I'm assuming the standard TRD/OR-SR5 wheel?

Plus if your trying to imply that paying $3500 for a package just to get alloys over steel wheels is silly, to each his own. I look at everything that comes with the OR package to be worth it. The locker and A-trac alone are worth the $3500 (Lets just assume the alloy wheels & Rugged fails are free at that point) . So if you compare my truck to yours, not that it matters, but for $3500 as you say..... I got the locker, A-trac, alloys, Nav, Entune Prem, JBL, Sports seats (That is worth the price alone) I had the standard SR5 seats in my PreRunner so I'm qualified to say that. Then $3500 dollars for a "Wheel pkg" doesn't seem bad now?

But no way would the OE alloy TRD wheels be an additional $3500 on an SR5? Unless they force you to get Nav, Entune Prem and JBL.

    Your original statement.
    Its false.
You cannot sell factory wheels for more than Toyota is selling them for.

I was implying selling the whole set together with wheels & tires as take offs. I would never advise buying wheels for more than Toyota charges. I think the SR5 wheels are something like $350/ piece if you bought over the counter individually.

The Grandtreks that come on the wheels are like. $175/ piece. So if the Op sold the entire set for $600-700 it would be a great deal for the buyer & seller.

But I'm done with this discussion, don't even know what I'm saying. Whatever Op got a new truck, he likes it, I'm happy for them.

I was mostly commenting on how it was said that TRD beadlocks were $2k at Toyota, and I pointed out that a dealer had a black set (TRD-Pro style??) for $950. That seems like a steal for those??

Got the 5100s in last night set at .85.... This job really should be done with two people. Pushing the LCA down and putting the bolt thru the shock bottom is a nightmare by yourself
    E008A357-BAC3-4232-AC82-56BFA7248160_zps_5433dcb2a607bd140807c2f8914a09f3f805324b.jpg

Still deciding if .85 is enough or if I'm going to get the 883 springs.

Ill measure this afternoon and make the call when the wheels and tires get put on

I do have a bit of rub up front. I took off the front tiny mud flap but left the larger front one (behind the tire)

do these have to be trimmed or removed for 265/75/16?
