I have a brand new 2014 and it has a annoying interior rattle seems like from passenger side. Not sure if its seat or seat belt or what.I tried everything I can think of so now I turn to you guys. Don't say take it to the dealer because they don't hear or fix rattles from my experience. My 2010 was basically the same truck and it never rattled in almost 100k. It just makes me mad everytime I drive I know I can turn the radio up but should I have to. Any help or tips would be great. Thanks!

I have the same problem on mine. Seems to be the passenger window. If I press on the seal in the upper right corner it seems to go away. Haven't found perminate solution.

Take a look at your passenger seat, while it's empty, going down a slightly bumpy road. Mine shakes and rattles going down a paved street that's a little bumpy. The dealer replicated the issue, they reported to Toyota and they said to test a truck like mine and see if it does the same thing. It did. So Toyota said "it's normal." What????? Are they proud of it too? Second time they gave me this same answer on a different issue.

I may try the other dealer in town and see what happens.

Ya I say something like the seat is the problem don't hear it when someone is in the truck. What's weird is same seats in my old truck no noise. Probably will have to live with it I have had cars 10 years old with no rattle not happy I just know once a rattle it will always be there they are tough to find.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
So, it's not the belt buckle rattling against the interior trim?

For shits and giggles I'd pull down the glove box door and make sure the cabin air filter (is even there) and that the filter door is closed.

Check your front fenders are bolted on and secured tightly by placing your hand over the wheel opening and pushing forward and pulling back. Mine weren't and made an annoying bang every time I'd hit a bump.

Mirror mount may be loose? Pry off the little black triangle and check the mirror mount bolts are tight?

Back to the glove box ... if you hold pressure on it does the noise go away?

I am driving down U.S. 13 through the Carolinas one morning about 4:00 am ... all by myself ... damned if this rattle/noise would act up ... finally I held pressure on it (closed) and BAM ... no noise ... as the sun rose I stopped at the 1st small town Taylor Hardware I found and bought those 1/4" round rubber stick on guys ... mounted them in two corners and no noise.

I noticed the same problem in my new 2014 DC LB (TRD Sport). For me, it appeared to be the center console. However, to rectify the situation I added a supercharger which rattles even louder. :D

    some stuff
I have three that come and go on my 13'. If the pass seat is in the perfect forward with lean position it hits the business end of the seatbelt in a way that makes it almost vibrate against the door. Also, the seat rattles when its in a specific slot..easy fix. Lastly, and most annoying, is a gasket squeak on the pass window that only happens on occasion, but it won't stop once it starts. Then it just goes away. Pandora works wonders as a fix.

My front passenger seat belt will sometimes rattle against the B-pillar. The shoulder belt mount is adjustable and I lowered it and it improved things. Also the rear seat belts (in DC's) have clips to hold them against the C-pillar to keep them from rattling.

Try soundproofing the passenger door control cluster, mine was loose and rattled, a little thin weatherproofing strip on the inner edges and it was gone.

Look up the passenger seat headrest rattle thread. That could be your problem. I have the headrest issue with my 13.

I have a rattle in my dash that comes and goes. When I push down on dash it seems to go away. Anyone have this issue?

On my '13, the door seals on both front doors are making a noise that drives me insane. It actually sounds like a rattle, but I'm positive it's the door seals. On the passenger side, the paint is even wearing a little where the door seal contacts it in the upper corner.

I've tried several different "fixes" so far, none of which have been very successful. Just ordered some Gummi Pfledge rubber care to try...I've seen where people have had some success with it on BMWs with the same issue. I'll find out tomorrow.

I must be lucky. My 96 doesn't rattle whatsoever. *knock on wood*
