You did fine. I pretty much got the same thing but access cab for 30,200 + fees
The region you live plays a big part in the price. I also got alloy wheels ,wheel locks. Enjoy it.

Picked up my 2015 4x2 TRD Sport with Entune plus, tow package, all WX mats and toyoguard for $29128 +TTL ($2k off MSRP). Traded in 10 yr old highlander for $8k and wifey graduated with an RN degree at 48 yrs old so picked up "recent college grad rebate of $750." Funny thing is we were $750 apart and dealer wouldn't budge more. Agreed to deal then financed through Toyota to get the rebate.

I'll refinance with my bank in a month.

Double check the paper work, you might have to wait three months (or three payments actually) before refinancing to get the rebate. That's been the case with a lot of other financing rebates I think, though I have no specific knowledge about this particular one. Which still of course makes the rebate well worth it! But just make sure you do it by the book so you don't lose the rebate.

Bought a 2015 super white DC 4x4 Long Bed, TRD Sport, Tow, Entune, bed lock, floor mats, running boards, window tint, door edge guard, and a few other things. Total was just under 32,500 including the $500 dealer fee which is pretty standard here in NC. Probably could've done a little better, but this was the truck I wanted (not too many long beds around) and they gave me what I wanted on my trade, so no complaints. Took 10 minutes.

A sort of bonus, I drove the truck literally they day after it was delivered - filthy dirty, still had all the plastic all over it, and 1 mile on the odometer. Bought it the next day. Never owned a vehicle this new.

I'm seein a couple folks post that they are getting their DCLB 4x4 TRD sports for a lot less then i am getting quoted for and which would seem below invoice price.

ZRXdean a few posts up says he got a 2015 DCLB 4x4, trd sport, entune, tow, at sticker price of 34030$, which is similar to mine below, for $31,611.

Recent quote from local dealer in bay area: DCLB 4x4 TRD sports, entune, tow, and carpet mats. MSRP 34,975$. Offered at $33355 before TTL. This is the best offer i've found so far. Does this look right?

It really depends on where in the country are and if you are buying a vehicle already on the lot or not. Keep in mind sometimes people omit whether they are getting a student or military rebate which makes the price seem very low. And yes, if there is a particular truck not moving at a dealership in the right place someone could easily get it for $1000 less than most people are other places.

As for "invoice" it really isn't "invoice". There are all sorts of hold backs that still go to the dealer letting them sell at invoice and still make a profit. They won't often go below "invoice" but they certainly can and still make money on the deal.

Your price, assuming it includes all BS fees from the dealer, is $1620 below MSRP. That's about what you'd expect if you went through a decent purchasing service like Costco. It is a good price, not a great price. If they've got the exact truck you want and you don't feel like compromising on features and hunting multiple dealerships then I'd say go for it. I suspect with patience and compromise you could probably do $500 better. And there are people that find a dealer motivated to move a particular truck for some reason that probably could even do $1000 better, but that is more rare.

I'm purchasing an ordered truck in the SW US where these things move quite quickly and my deal through Costco was $1600 below MSRP. I tried to get some BS fees removed to drop it a few hundred dollars and was told to go to another dealership and try there if I didn't like the deal on the table. In my case (purchasing from another state) what I really needed was a "good" deal that was smooth and hassle free so I took the deal. If I lived in the area and spent time hunting the lots maybe I could have done a little bit better.

Sticker was $32k. Haggled for an hour, walked out at one point. Wound up paying 29k + TTL, just about 32k out the door.

EDIT: Dealer "invoice" was 29,500...checking true car shows basically anything under 30,000 as a "great deal." When I first pointed that out, they tried to tell me true car is very inaccurate for the Tacoma specifically...

Bought my 15 double cab 4x4 trd off road for 33800 before ttl, not a great deal, but had trade in that wasn't good and they give me what I wanted for it, so did haggle any on price of truck.

True Car will give you a decent idea of what vehicles in your area are selling for (also if looking out of the area use that zip code to check prices). I did a lot of searching for my Pro and found that Vacaville Toyota gives about $1750 off of msrp on most Tacos when contacted via the Internet. Actually had a Pro bought through them until Toyota decided to send a Black One. They are only an hour or so from where you are at so might be worth a try. Also found the folks at Hayward Toyota were decent to talk with .

On March 7 I bought a '15 DCSB 4WD automatic w/ TRD Off-Road extra value package, Entune Premium audio with navigation, V6 tow package, carpet floor mats, door sill protectors, and black tube steps.

Including the delivery and handling fee, the final sticker was $35,074. I got them down to $32,447 using the USAA car buying service and a (very) little haggling. This is at the lower (better) end of the True Car's "Great Price" range.

This is before all of the other fees, taxes, registration, trade-in, etc.

I've spent the last 7 months checking this thread and negotiating with dealerships. My negotiating power was very minimal cause nobody in Utah or the surrounding states had a black 15 access cab trd sport v-6 manual and that was the only one I would buy. Every dealership in Utah wanted nothing to do with negotiating price on a truck they would have to order in. If they did come off of msrp it was nothing more than $700 and they treated me like I was crazy not accepting that price. Sticker on the truck is $31,705. The lowest I got quoted was $31,000 plus a bunch of doc/ ubsurd dealer fees. I finally found the exact truck in stock in Washington state. A dealership called Toyota of Puyallup. They were very easy to deal with and gave me a upfront price with no ludacris sells gimmicks or trying to bait and switch me like every single Utah Toyota dealership did. I got the truck for $29,900 plus $150 doc fee. Came with everything I mentioned above as well as all weather mats and door seal. I've never put this much effort into buying a truck before and this is my 5th tacoma but when you are so specific on what you want it makes it difficult sometimes. Especially when it is a rare package like the trd sport, access cab, manual v-6. $2,200 off was worth it to me to make the 13 hour drive and $300 gas and motel to not buy it from a local toyota dealership whos service was sub par. Thanks to all who have posted before me. I feel I did pretty well and am happy with it. Time to start building it up now!
