It's the very sharp "old man brown" color. Allow me to show an example. If you're so mesmerized by the color that you can't seem to scroll down the page, I apologize. If not, it's probably just because the photo is a washed out cell phone shot.

I think every speedway I've ever seen has been a TRD Sport.

I'm not normally a fan of red vehicles, but I have a coworker with an '07 TRD OR in that red (I think it's radiant red) and it is definitely a good looking truck.

I could see myself getting the supercharger kit at some point down the road, but it's not a priority. I don't feel like I'm underpowered, but it's always nice to have more. ;-)[/QUOTE]

I always wondered how the 1st gear would do with a supercharger since it's geared so low.

IMO The 6 speed in our trucks is fine for what it is: A truck. It sure as hell doesn't shift like an Aston Martin, but its a heck of a lot better than the tranny in my old Jeep.

Only issue related to my manny tranny so far is a squeaky clutch pedal... :notsure:

I'm usually not a fan of green unless it's cash, but I like this. Nice looking truck sir.

Looks like a Carrera 4S (looks like wide body) Almost picked up a 45k mile '96 4S in arena red a few years ago, kick myself because the values if 993 are reduculous now.

Yes. Let's just take this time to show off our truck. Nobody will notice, nobody will care, please go ahead considering that is what you just did here.

I wish I lived near those that think the 6-speeds aren't rare. I only found 3 near me when I was looking for mine. And the closest one was 3 1/2 hours away. Most people that special order the MT intend to keep it thus making the MT fairly rare, especially in the double cabs.

I see hundreds of Tacomas in general a day. The only manuals I've ever seen were in 5-lug reg cabs, or X-Runners. This was the first time I had seen a real stick in a Double Cab.

    Ha ha, had to!
But seriously, I've never really given much thought about how sales differ so drastically by region. I do recall when I ordered mine because of the color I'd have to wait a week or so cause it was sitting on a train somewhere. But locally there were quite a few others. Just not my #1 and 2 choices. 2nd choice was Pyrite.

Hell I haven't even seen MTs in the 5-luggers. I have only seen one other tacoma with MT in person and that was an AC with the 5 speed.

And I wonder if people think I'm weird cuz I look in every single parked tacoma just to see what gear box they are sporting lol.
