Hey guys just installed my pl8540 and tapped into the correct blue/red and blue/black wires and the truck will not lock through the fob. truck unlocks via fob but will only lock through the door switches. The tailgate locks swell through the door switch. I've checked fuses and wire connections but everything seems to check out. Ive removed my taps and still will not lock through fob. Any ideas?

Just installed the same today. It unlocked perfectly, but would not lock via the fob until I closed the hood.

    Was your hood closed?

There are a number of posts where others have had similar issues with electronic versions. That is why I stay with the manual version, PL5500.

    Not enough...
I installed my Topper/Tonneau lock from Pop & Lock today too, but haven't wired it yet (gonna do this weekend). Just tested with a 9v battery. Works good.
