lets assume distance isn't a BIG issue... i know not everyone list on auto trader but some dealership in MA has some access cabs for 5k under MSRP

im willing to travel a bit for a better deal. my local dealership won't go under MSRP. i never understood how they stay in business

And why i have your attention, any idea what the rates are for a 5 or 6 year loan.

Depends on lot of factors for rates. Call a dealer, bank, or credit union and have them quote you. Look for a volume dealership if you're able to travel, since they sacrifice mark up for sales volume.

I just got a 6 year loan on a 2012 with a rate of 2.19%. So there are good rates out there to be had.

I had to do it because my old car essentially died and my wife's new explorer we bought 2 years ago we are paying aggressively on with only a year left. Once that is paid off that entire amount will go to the Taco. I don't like having more than one car payment, but this time it was unavoidable.

That's probably the only scenario where it makes any sense.

Yeah....this is the first time in a while that I have had 2 car payments....I just don't like it. I drove my old car till it just didn't make any more sense to pour money into it.

72 for the lower payment.. i still pay 100-200 more to get it paid off in under 5 years. I want the lower payment "just in case"

There's a dealership in Ashville, NC that has bottom-line, no haggle pricing. I used them as a baseline when I bought mine. Even threatened the dealer to fly up there and buy from them. Their prices are on their website.

I got my 13 AC OR from a dealership in MA (Haddad in Pittsfield). I thought it was a pretty good deal. Rare package (OR, 6-Speed in Spruce Mica). It had 12K miles on it when I got it (April 2014) and other than one very minor scratch that my detailer took right out it was mint. I got it for $27k out the door and was able to get 2.9% on a 6 year loan. With my high credit score I was eligible and almost got 1.9% but all my credit was in cards and a student loan, this was my first auto loan which bumped me up to 2.9%.

I'm from CT and searched the whole tri-state area for months and it did seem like all the best deals I found were in Mass for whatever reason.

The dealership I used does ALOT of truck sales and I had about as good of an experience with them as you can at a dealership. I would recommend.

    Not enough...
What dealership is best to buy your Toyota truck? A Toyota dealership.

You can't expect us to tell you where exactly to go and buy your truck without putting in any work.
Go to autotrader. Email a bunch of dealers in whatever area you want, tell them exactly what you want and wait for the emails back.

Rate will probably be around 2-3% for a 6 year loan, at least here in CA.

I did the same thing... I went 72 months because it was the same interest rate as the 60 months... On my current payment plan, I should have the truck paid off in less than 4 years.
