Probably along with MGM.. 15k if you want it. 13.5k if you don't need it.

    Good luck.

What do you mean if I don't need it?

If you NEED the truck, pay him what he wants. If you don't NEED the truck, offer him a lesser amount and see if he bites. Can always offer him more after that.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
At 97K expect to need rear brakes, hardware, and possibly drums. Around 125K you may need Ebrake cables soon, again around 125K. You currently need a radiator and trans flush as well as a diff and transfer case change. Maybe you can play that off as a cost and beat the price down.

    I added a bolt once...
If all wear and tear looks normal...not beat up, I would "guess" you only need pads up front, maybe a rotor turn. Could replace pads and rotors ($160 ish)...

Drums in rear last much longer than front pads. Can't guess on those but my 06 prerunner went 89K without needing rear...pads once only during the 8 years I had it...again, depends on driver and where it's being driven.

I wouldn't make or break the deal on breaks...

It's not beat up, but it doesn't appear that he took good care of it. It just seems like a family vehicle. I post a link with pictures.
Seats and floors have a few stains. There are small scuffs and scratches on bumpers

I've been negotiating. It was originally 16k and he wants nothing more than 15k

Sounds normal for an 8 year old truck.

    this.

just buy it knowing it's not a "new" truck, and that you're going to NEED to put a few bucks into it. these guys listed the most important items already. weigh that against buying a truck in the $17k range that doesn't need as much maintenance, and if it still makes sense, buy it knowing you got a pretty good deal.
