Excessive Driveline Slack: 6-Speed

I have a 2011 DCSB Off Road, and in my opinion, there is way too much play in the driveline. This is my 4th manual tacoma and this 2011 has more play than any of the others. It is most annoying between shifts or when I let off the gas in a low gear.
All U joints have been checked and they all seem fine. The play appears to be coming from where the half-shaft connects. I have taken it in to the dealership, and they tell me that everything looks good. They also told me in comparison to the only other manual they have on the lot, mine has less slack... I didn't ask for a comparison, I want to know if it is within factory specs...

Has anyone had this same concern?
