I really like the FJ black trd wheels but they are hard to find and extremely expensive. I've seen after market ones for sale on eBay. Has anyone purchased them and how is the quality? I can get a set for around $600. Thanks

I've got the anthracite ones (as long as you are talking about the TTs), but same rim (mine of SE). Perfect fit for our trucks. Never had any rubbing, even before lift and with 265/75.

You can find the real deal for 6-700 new. Lots of dealers will price match too.

You can get them from the dealer. Mine here in TN got me 5 of them for $170 a wheel. Which isn't bad since there is no shipping charges added. Check and see what price they give you.

While on the subject, I have heard of people saying there are lookalikes and then there are the real factory FJ wheels. Does anyone know how to tell the difference?

Picked up a set from from Conicelli Toyota http://www.toyotapartznet.com for $471.00 a few weeks back. It looks like the special is over but they have them now for $160.00 each plus an additional 10% if liking them on FB.

The originals will have toyota stamped on the inside, mine were 600 from Amazon. Pretty sexy!

I guess mine are fakes. They say JTL or something on the side.

I paid $660 out the door for mine a couple of months ago, they were the OEM originals. Some dealers are taking the non black OEM rims and powder coating them and selling them for about the same price.

They just might be a better rim since the powder coating might hold up better than the painted.

All my Toyota wheels have JTL on them. Not sure why or what it means.

Well I wonder, then, if they are knock off or not. I know my trd letters look pink instead of red.

    That's JWL. It's a strength certification.
