OK, considering this thread and his many others, I'm guessing the OP is not married and is 18 y/o or younger.

We gotta cut the kid some slack. :p

No. You're just being racist. The original post did not say that at all so don't assume.

I was just fuckin with ya, man. Sorry to hear that though. I'm sure it wasn't easy. Especially after finishing boot and getting stationed in a place where you don't know anybody. If y'all still talked at least you could have talked to her until you started meeting people and making friends. By chance, do you have any contact with her now?

Hell no!:D That is what is wrong with society today! We cut kids too much slack. :p

Water under the bridge as far as life goes, but yeah, left a bitter taste in my mouth for little rich kids who think the world revolves around them.

She wrote me while I was in basic, and that was nice. I even had a really nice picture of her to hang on the trophy wall in the barracks. She got the most votes! I am telling you she was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. Beautiful blonde hair, all waved back, beautiful doe eyes of blue, 5'9" and all of 110 lbs.

After we split up she went on to Michigan to go to college. I don't know where she is right now, but after my 25 year high school reunion a mutual friend of mine said that she had ran into her a few years back. (She lived in Michigan as well) and that she was a successful surgeon at a hospital up there. Strangely enough she said that she was still single, and had no kids. Too much water under the bridge at this point to try and contact her again.

Damn! Good for her. If she's a successful surgeon she may be too busy to date.

I'd much prefer Florida over Bama. I grew up right outside of Montgomery in a town that had a gas station and 2 stop signs. Nice, quiet, and peaceful which I like a lot. If anything, Las Vegas makes me miss those quiet nights in the woods. But I could find something just like that in Florida and be close to a beach.

Problem would be that she has a successful business in Michigan. And there is no way in HELL I am going to move there. Too freaking COLD for me. 2 weeks in Nome Alaska for cold weather training was enough for me to say no more!

Just do it man, shes single and ready to mingle. I'm sure you won't regret it and she'd love to hear from you if you guys were that close.

Last part was me being serious.

Nah. I appreciate the thoughts, but like I said, that was many years ago and water under the bridge at this point. Besides, I have a girlfriend now and it would be unfair to her.
