Money seemed high to me until I went to order a TRD Sport in Blue. Was going to run 34,5K before TTL. About 2,5K more for PRO. Already has all the bells and whistles.

Oh the irony that people will spend thousands on tires, rims, lift kits, and body mods, yet turn there nose up at the TRD pro.

    Amusing...

Nice truck! I'd buy the PRO over a Limited at around the same price any day. If you have the money to spend then buy what ya want. 34.5k before TTL on a TRD Sport is pretty high though, unless they gave you a couple extra grand on a trade in over what it was really worth. I got my 13' TRD OR custom ordered for 31k before TTL (no trade), it's fully loaded with tow package and some additional accessories like bed mat, front skid, all weather flooring, and all weather mats.

Does your PRO have the full tow package with coolers, beefed up alternator, and 7 pin connector. Or does it just have a hitch with the 4 pin connector?

Except icons, kings or foxes (not to mention any leaf pack) is way better than any suspension component on the pro.

Not to derail the thread or anything. Loving the color

Congrats and Enjoy! Love the Inferno especially under the sun. I suppose it depends on where you are and how many Pro's the dealers in your area are getting. I bought mine back of sticker, but I have also seen people paying $2-3k over. Even then these trucks are not sitting around on dealer lots so consider yourself lucky to have had the chance to own one.

It will be interesting to see how many Toyota will build. I was told by that dealers are getting allocated .8 trucks each. If that is true it will be a pretty special truck.

Mine just as it came off the transport truck

Exactly, fuxk all the haters (there seems to be a lot of them here)!

And remember, most of the people who say they wouldn't buy a pro actually would, it's just that they can't and, therefore, automatically shun anyone who can.

I'm sure if all those haters were worth a gazillion dollars, they wouldn't be buying a SR5 and building it up with 5100!

There is plenty of arguments here to buy an SR5 and make it better than a PRO and come out spending several thousand dollars cheaper and still walk circles around the PRO, the only difference is the rad grille. The only 'hating' here is on Toytota, they make the truck look better, put a sub-par suspension on it and charge $40k.

While I respect your opinion, I also don't, necessarily, agree with it :)

I also don't recall the OP ever asking to hear those arguments or why other's wouldn't buy a pro so it's irrelevant to this particular thread.

And now, this thread has turned into the same conversation as just about every other of the 10,000 threads on TW.

Which is why I'm out ;)
