After searching for a couple hours I still have yet to find a definite way of getting this done. Many claim you have to replace the entire LCA and others claim to have replaced only the balljoint. There seem to be no write-ups on getting them out other than someone saying "I broke a lot of stuff and forgot to take pictures".

I am replacing both lowers tomorrow and any tips/tricks would be great. I have done several balljoint jobs before on Jeeps and Silverados but my first on a Toyota. Its usually a straightforward job with 2 BFH's and a rented BJ tool from Advance.

I've got everything off minus the balljoints itself. Right now in just trying to remove that. I picked up the moogs as that seemed what everyone was using. But if they seem like a pain I'll try and get raybestos.

    Thanks guys

Yes. With the moog set too. Wasn't bad at all once I had the right size receiving cup for the bj tool.
