When you guys are performing the carrier bearing drop, are you guys marking the current position of the bracket so it gets mounted back in the same exact position? Or do you just loosen, drop, and tighten up both sides evenly and let the bracket fall into place up against the frame?

I noticed there can be a fair amount of movement with the bracket, either left to right or front to back before tightening up the bolts.

Was wondering this same thing so bumping it back up. I have some vibrations I am trying to track down. I had the tires balanced multiple times and the driveshaft was just fully rebuilt.
