I have a 2007 PreRunner with 65k I'm not sure when to change the transmission fluid. My owners manual only says at 100k when doing alot of towing. I would appreciate any and all responses. Thanks,

    Your owners manual is correct......

Although, you can do it whenever you want.

No, the owners manual is no longer correct. Toyota changed the recommendation to 60K.

I agree with the 60K change. The 2014 Toyota Warranty and Maintenance guide for my 2014 says to change the transmission oil at 60K if you tow, use a car top carrier, or heavy loading.

    I added a bolt once...
60K now and there is a sticky on how-to...
I did my 06 at the dealer last year (89k) and it made a difference in shifting ($209).

Sold the pickup and bought a 2014...I will do it myself at 60K

Toyota changed the recommendation to 60k as stated above. I would change mine earlier if I did alot of towing, but thats just me.
