    I added a bolt once...
I searched...found a few dead threads on it...

Great Amazon reviews. Seems stout. I need a little more camping storage. Way less cost than Thule or Yakima.
44 x 35 x 4.25 and would fit my Thule canopy rack perfect , and still fit in garage;).
Anyone use one of these? Pics mounted to a Tacoma?

    Here it is at Amazon...

Yes, I may have just created another dead thread:(
Maybe I'll be the TW test rat, get one, and give a review...

If it's anything like the others, the points where it assemble will rust, so it's best to weld together and then re-powdercoat.

I'll put in my opinion. It has been my experience that you get what you pay for. Although there may be nothing wrong with that basket I personally wouldn't buy it. I know that the Yakima and Thule are more expensive I personally believe they are worth it.

And yes KB Voodoo's rack system is great if you decide to go that route.

i bought the Reese basket from walmart :anonymous:about the same size as the Highland Venture, same price too.

Ill post pics once i get mine mounted over my bed. it is a 3 piece design.

edit: ok after looking at the Highland Venture one on Amazon, im pretty sure its the exact same basket. they just re-badged to sell it with either company. hmm.... i'll post a pic when i get off work.

Right off, i want to add some sort of support down the center to tie in all the small wire ribs, they are a little to flimsy. The tubing that makes the main frame seems stout enough. We will see.

if you are not going with the bed basket, i would look into the bajaracks for roof or canopy mounts. Price isn't too bad of an increase.

In the same boat as you. I'm skeptical of those super cheap ones on Amazon. I am thinking about the Proline safari rack from prolineracks.com. Its $129, and mounts on any crossbars up to 3" I believe.

I found a Thule MOAB for $175 on CL...if it's as described, I'll pick that up.
I'll post Pics upon purchase if I snag it.
