My new stock 2014 4x4 RC feels like I'm floating on clouds. Its amazing. I'm hesitant to even change out the tires for fear of losing some of that smoothness.

My last taco (which I'm going to sell as soon as I get the replacement title in the mail) was an 03 extended cab on 34 inch toyo open country a/t's with a 6" DB lift and 3" body lift. It was comically proportioned, to say the least. It was a hell of a truck and we had some amazing times, but it handled more like a tractor than a pickup. Now that I have a job with a 70 mile each-way commute, I can't afford to drive a tractor to work. So long old friend and good riddance!

You should post a pic of your old truck.

I can't count the number of times I'd have people pull up next to me smiling/laughing/pointing. It made me chuckle. I'd also always get approving thumbs ups from the jeep guys.

Well there's your problem. It wasn't the truck it was your "lift"
Congrats on the new one though post a pic.

Not too worried about mileage, but I do get a couple mpg better now. And yes the lift was the problem, never suggested otherwise! I bought it like that stupidly thinking I'd be able to undo some of that stuff... Easier said than done. It was still an awesome purchase though. :)
