Got my first recall today and it is pretty interesting because I also recieved a recall for my previous car (2002 Honda Accord). Weird!

Seems to just be incorrect labeling of the tires

The Honda one, ouch  Possible shrapnel on airbag deployment

Gotta love all the money they waste on Research and Development. Shows all the over paid engineers are stupid.

    Happy B-day!

I got that letter yesterday. It seems odd to me that they would not know what wheels I had at delivery.

Wow thats almost laughable. So they were forced to send out thousands of letters because some trucks were sold with LT tires instead of P rated tires with lower capacities. The LT's are tougher, so whats the problem? :notsure:

I have a base reg cab 4x4 with base steel wheels. TRD or any wheel option isn't offered. Why would Toyota waste postage sending me a recall notice?

The only thing I ever owned new enough to qualify for a recall was my 2001 Ducati Monster for a clutch slave recall.

The oil leak from the crank seal at 100 miles was free of charge no recall needed only 29 days to fix after 1 week of ownership which pissed me off after I had just lemon lawed my 2000 Buell Lighting X1 8 months before.

if I read my letter correctly, the "fix" is just an updated label.
