Just 'on' and 'high on'. So I went to this Forum: found that the 2009 Camray had variable speed wipers and the same 'stalk' that the Tacoma has - - or so the Forum note said. I went to eBay and bought a module from a salvage outfit. Opened up the 'tupper ware' on the Tacoma and pulled out the old stalk; put in the 'new' and - - it's perfect. Thank to this Forum.

Alot of models don't. Toyota saves about $100 retail. Participants in the 2013+ Rav4 forum have been griping about the LE; I linked the success of Tacoma owners like the OP, but have yet to find anyone fix up their Rav4.
    Oh well; to them, guessitmustnotbethatimportant!!!!:D

Yes,, it came as a surprise to me also, I didn't realize it until I ran into some rain, I honestly didn't think you could buy a vehicle without intermittent wipers, on the positive side, it is an easy fix, but hay, Come on Toyota!!!

Well it wasnt really a mod, i just took a chance and bought the cruise control stalk, and it took about 20 minutes to install (hardest part was trying to get that stoopid ground wire out of one clip into the other) but not hard at all. It added cruise control to my ride which the dealer was wanting 1100 to install because they had to run all new wiring, lol there is a write up on here somewhere about how to do it, ill search it again and send the link to ya, if you dont have cruise already. I just gave it a shot, bought the stalk and installed it and it worked, i thought ill pay 40 for the stalk, if it doesnt work, imcan always resale it ya know.

Thanks for taking the time!, My truck came with CC, I thought maybe there was a mod to make it a one button deal, on mine one must engage the CC & them press the control, on most of my vehicles it is simply push cruise button, no big deal but am just useto the "one step" Thanks again

Any wiper switch 05+ tacoma will work. Also 09-11 Camry. Some others. A lot of prius switches will also work but they have a rear wiper knob that doesn't do anything if put in a tacoma.
