    Hi guys,

I currently have a Hayden 678 trans cooler on my truck and will be towing a travel trailer a little over 5000lbs which I think is the current rating for the 678. I read that installing the 679 is not nessacirly a good idea for people who live in cold climate which is where I live. It can get pretty cold here in Canada, lol.

My opinion is just to leave the current one I have now, any suggestions?

Also, I hear people bypassing the radiator which is not how mine was done, does the TRD model with the tow package bypass this?

Should I install a thermostatic bypass kit on mine?

    Thanks for the help.

the OEM trans cooler as far as i know has a thermostat in it that allows the trans to heat up for that reason
