    Battery post in fuse box
Does anyone use this? I have not seen mention of it on the forum, although I am somewhat new. I have an led light bar and under-hood lights hooked to this post. Is there a reason I should or shouldn't do this? I think it looks cleaner. Thanks

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
There are tons of great howto posts on TW covering this topic. Here is one if you want an install guide for non-OEM lights:

Electrical problems can be costly and to avoid them be sure to do a proper install. If you are not confident with electricity and electrical systems better pay a local shop to do it for you. Some basics: you'll want good heavy gauge wiring, an automotive relay, an in-line fuse, a switch, and an add-a-circuit connector.

I usually tap into the battery leads for my add-on wiring needs and avoid the factory fuse box.

Sorry for the duplicate posts. A few beers and patience isn't my virtue. I had tried a search but probably wasn't using the right terminology. All the electrical components I installed on that battery post came preassembled with fuses/relays so I figure I should be good. Was just curious why most of the posts I see installing aux lights and such connected to the battery instead. Maybe this will help someone else.
