The plastic part on the rear bumper is nicked and gashed from previous owner. Tried finding a thread and i couldnt find one (new to site maybe looking in wrong places). I removed all the burs of plastic with a razor blade but dont know if i should fill the nicks or something else, did not sand it due to fear of damaging it. Are there any tips tricks to fix this would greatly appreciate it.

I would say it's a piece of plastic on a rear bumper and let it roll with a little gouge in it. It's there for that reason just like your bedside rails. If you have to correct it though I would sand it first then use a good plastic adhesion promoter before you paint the entire plastic piece or it will look goofy and two different colors.

U could prolly buy one off someone that went with an off-road bumper. They may not wanna separate it from their bumper tho, but worth a shot

I'm not sure what part this is on the bumper or how big it is, but you could check to see what it costs and replace it yourself. These parts are usually insane expensive but I'd check anyway. Also Check online and at a local junk yard.
