I haven't but I have considered making something to go on the dash that would block my view to the top of the hood scoop.

Anybody wanna post a pic of this glare? Always read about it, never seen what it is actually like.

Thought about wrapping the entire hood, but when she's all polished up, I enjoy the refection as I drive. Makes me forget about the occasional blinding glare.

I've had this on there for at least 6 months, so 10,000+ miles and umpteen 4 wheeling trips, couple of chips. Hot, powerful Florida sun. Dirty as hell right now.
Found some flat gray, going to peal and re-spray soon.

Just a suggestion. If you want to get rid of the gloss why don't you spray it with flat plasti dip? It would kick down the gloss of the clear but still retain it's factory color.

Yep. For the rare occasion that I get a little glare its not worth modding the paint to me.

I was mainly curious how it looked. It's not like it always gets me, but the ride home is rough some days. If it looked good I would consider it

Does derp come in silver? Maybe even try and get a piece of silver wrap for it? It'll be subtle and sure to help without worrying too much on how it looks.

New tactic. Keep my truck a bit dirty and the glare isn't so bad.
