I purchased my 2014 DCSB 4x4 Sport on July 31 this year...

Today my "Very Hard Working" 19 year old son purchased his 2015 AC 4x4 Sport. Very proud of him and the work ethic that has afforded him the ability to make a substantial "cash" down payment on a new vehicle.

Yeah I'm bragging about my boy! Isn't that what dad's are suppose to do?

yes... we both have white:facepalm:he could not/would not be swayed!

Tell him yours is better because it came with the "special edition" digital clock in the panel under the radio :p.

Every father is proud of there kids. Even when they aren't they want to be. No need to apologize.

I didn't notice that until we were driving back from the dealer. I knew something was different, why would they remove the clock?

I kinda liked the "Tacoma" in place of the clock, since the Head Unit displays time its kind of redundant to have another clock.

Taking out the digital clock saves Toyota a few bucks. That's all. It used to be a feature that was in demand way back when. In my 2013 there is no clock on the radio so it is not redundant on my model year. I like the clock separate because the numbers are bigger and easier to see quickly when I'm hoping in and out of my truck for work. Either way it's not biggie, but if it were my kid I'd bug him to make him think his truck was missing something mine had as a joke.

I stopped worrying about " what time it is " 15 years ago. It only gives you something else to be bothered with

So what you're saying is that you gave up worrying about your "clock" 15 years ago and accepted it for what it was :D.
