    Hey TW ...
So i recently adjusted my 5100s to first notch from 0 to 0.85. I have 885 OEM coils. I was running the setup for a little over a year and i have noticed my 285/70s began to rub a tiny tiny bit at full lock. So that's why i bumped them up.
Anyway the truck sits a little higher in the front then the rear obviously. I have a 1 1/2" Block back there now. I like the look of a little bit of a rake to the truck so should i just go with a 1.5" Add a leaf ?
If i go that route would i need longer U bolts then what came with the 1.5" block?

if you go with an AAL do like a wheelers single leaf 2in AAL only ~ 5/16th's of an inch thicker so if you have that much extra threads on your u bolts you will be good.

That stated... blocks = no good.

Rims and tires , exhaust , stereo , Bhlm ,Changed carpet to black from grey. toytec ultimate lift kit. Allpro front bumper and light bar. In process of blacking out interior. Otrattw switches, black vinyl armrest mod, clazzio leather seat covers with heaters, flowmaster dual exhaust, hornblasters train horns,
A good add a leaf and you can get rid of the blocks. Got mine from Toytec and they lifted my truck by 3 inches.

Wow yeah I heard a lot of people saying blocks were no good. I just thought that was when they start to get over 2" when you could run into trouble .

Wow 3 inches from a 1 Toytec leaf?

going from a 1.5 block to a single aal (if you remove your block that is with a leaf that gives you the 3 inches you want..) you might find that your ubolts are too long. i think the rule of thumb is you want 1/2inch of threads sticking out at the least.. somebody will have another opinion on that shortly i'm sure

I already have longer U Bolts or my block, so i wont need them. I was just saying if i used the block and added 1 leaf would the U bolts be long enough.

But i think im going to get rid of the block and just go with an add a leaf or Progressive AAL from toytec and keep my overload leaf in...
Anyone know how many inches that would bring me at? 2 1/2?

Wheeler's is saying 1.5" of lift with the Icon Progressive AAL: Good choice on choosing the Progressive AAL over the single AAL. While the optimal choice is to swap out the toyota leafs completely, the single AAL is horrible and sucks all around. Unless you don't tow or haul ever (have absolutely ZERO weight in the back) and never take it off pavement, single AAL is alright.
