Got a good deal on a set of LT265/75r16 duratracs from discount tire direct through ebay. Had them studded, mounted, and balanced today. Goodbye forever rugged fails!

Any rubbing with the 75s? What did you pay for the tires alone? Looks good. Love your truck, have color envy.

Why did you get the studded? And I see no studs in the pic.

There is a slight rub at about 3/4 turn. Nothing before or after that. Thanks! I had magnetic gray before this, but as soon as I saw the spruce mica I knew what my next one would be! I paid $620 with free shipping via UPS.

Yep. No restrictions in NH or VT. Surrounding states limit it to certain months.

I went studded because the road I live on has some very steep hills mixed with tight curves, and then my driveway is a half mile long with two steep hills and a 90 degree turn. Figured I could use all the traction I can get for the winter months.

Oh boy. Well she's been an awfully purdy stock truck long enough I guess. Next thing will be a lift and 285s!

Looks great! I am getting exact combo except stock size. I'm up here in Anchorage so went with the studs too. I figure when the studs wear down I can take the studs out and get even longer life from the tires. I hear reports of 40,000+ unstudded. You will be a tank this winter with that combo!

I have the same tire set up, in my case the rubbing was on the mud flaps. Just remove those and you're fine.

    Yes
I had the same issue when I had mine. Lost the flaps: lost the rub.

There are P rated Duratracs? :notsure:

Looking good! You will love them. I imagine having them studded will make them beastly in the snow. I ran studded snows on my Civic year round when I lived in VT, but that car saw more snowy and dirt roads than pavement. :D
