05-09 regular cab 4x4 questions

Im thinking about a regular cab truck (4x4) for maybe a year or so in the future, ive been looking now however and ive been on toyota.com under the "build your tacoma" section and it does not allow you to choose an option with body-color over fenders and color keyed front/rear bumpers. does toyota not offer that option any more? and what are some other differences between the 08-09 tacomas? and if you have a 4x4 single cab how is it? Power? ride quality? im trying to find as much as i can about the second generation regular cabs.
