    It keeps the glove compartment from slamming down when you open it. It attaches on the right hand side.

    Mine came off to from where it hooks onto the truck cause the teeth werent strong enough anymore to hold it in place so it kept slipping off. Its on there better now thought but it was def annoying when it kept popping off.

    damn. I guess you learn something new everyday. 5 years and 2 tacomas and I never knew I had this on there. I legit walked out to my truck to see if it was there and it didn't slam... I guess I never let the glove box drop

    I ended up putting a screw (with a big head) inbetween the plastic nubs.

    Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
    Be sure that the little ears aren't broken off that stick out of the glove box where it attaches. Oil change techs have to remove that to check your cabin air filter, that's usually when you have a problem with it.
