2006 TACOMA TRD DC Need help with front cross member

i have a 6" fabtech drop bracket lift on a 2006 Tacoma 2wd that was already installed when i bought it,problem is i want to undo the lift but don't have the front cross member that gets cut out to intsall these 6 inch lifts hopping some one has was laying around from when they installed there drop bracket lift.willing to buy one if anybody has one or maybe some one knows a solution that could help me out?

All I'm trying to do is downsize my lift max I want is 4 inches If anybody knows a way to achieve this without totally buying a new lift please let me know I was thinking maybe just changing the spindles don't know if that would work though?

Why is the cross member cut on a 2wd? And good luck I'll be doing the same shortly. Wish I hadn't scrapped mine.

 

Apparently u have to cut the old one out to fit the drop bracket as far as I know any drop bracket lifts require you to do this unless I'm mistaken.wish u hadn't scraped yours either lol

 

You cut the crossmember to lower the front differential . 2wd doesn't require cutting. So you might want to actually look under there.

 

I'm 100 percent sure it's it's cut I just pulled up the manual and it shows in it that even for 2wd u have to cut it other wise the drop bracket won't fit

 

I believe I am mistaken sorry your correct. the front has two cross members the front doesn't get cut but the one right behind it does which correct me if I'm wrong but it would be the rear cross member

 

Bump....anybody know if I can make one?or if I can change the spindles that come with the lift with some 4" spindles
