I do the same but every so often some jackass parks right next to me. I am sure they do it on purpose.

Zero dings on my '14 yet, but after a few highway trips there are 2-3 rock gouges in the front bumper and one in the chrome grille (drives me nuts) as I find rock chips worse than a ding. But totally un avoidable if you drive the highway. At least with dings, you can PDR and move on, rock chips from the highway have to be re-sprayed $$$ and it's an endless battle.

Ironically, I detailed my wife's Subaru last week (haven't washed it in 4-5 months??) I found at least 3 new dings or light scrapes on her car, and she is really good about parking etiquette, she always tries for an end spot or a walk out in the boonies if possible.

But in her defense (She works for the Fire department) which shares the same tight parking lot and building with the Police, so no real other options there. A lot of the Police officers that park in her lot (not open to public) carry huge bags and equipment between the cars in the employee lot, which probably contribute to damage. Although the car was mostly ding free for it's first 2 years.

Get it fix with a dent repair specialist. A good one will make it look brand new.

Btw, I also had a white 2007 WRX/STI prior to my Tacoma

I park it the way it should be parked in parking stall. I avoid parking anywhere near Idiots who parked their beaters half Of the wheels sitting on the other parking stall.

I think they are similar side steps but are more designed to protect the bottom of your truck when off-road.

Yep, That's what I just look up, doesn't seem they would stick out far enough though to stop someone's door from hitting the side of your truck.

Same here. I actually saw it happen - it was like slow motion, lol! Some lazy fuck-tard obviously left their cart in the middle of the parking lot. Strong gust of wind sent the cart hauling ass into my rig as I walked out of the store.

They all come out with a little bit of rubbing on them. And well sometimes you have to cut the top of your truck off. It will be ok.

Thankfully there isn't a dent. Just a scratch. It feels like it went past the paint and into the primer. I haven't really had a chance to inspect it. I might, MIGHT, be able to buff it out.

On a Subaru note, I found out the person who bought my car already wrecked it. Only took them a week. Lol. That actually made me sad. I kept it in pristine condition. No dents or scratches anywhere. Whoever bought it hit something. Destroyed the front bumper, passenger front fender, and hood. Pushed the core support into the engine. :(

Sliders and parking far away from people are my only defense. Looking to beef it up a little though. Anybody know if trdparts4u carries reactive armor for these trucks?

The first one for me was some asshole backed his boat trailer into the drivers bedside and put a fairly big dent and broke the paint. Some people shouldn't be allowed in the front seat of their vehicle.

I just got my first door ding last week from a carriage at Toys R Us. The biggest ding was just covered up by these. The Factory black steps stick out about 4 inches and it did nothing against the carriage. One person showed a Lowe's carriage hitting his sliders. Sliders do work, but that carriage is a lot lower to the ground than a normal. one. You will get dings, so some steps or sliders, and these door moldings will take the brunt of it. I will post pics tomorrow of them on my car. Put them on today in about 15 minutes.

x1000. PDR guys can work magic on dents. You'll never know it was there.

LOL. Wives seem to be good at that. Mine took my last tacoma up into the mountains and while turning around she drove into a boulder. Luckily the truck was high enough and it hit the factory skid plate and just dented that.
