Snug Top Shell is supposed to be delivered on the 19th so I might be making a road trip on the 21st to go get it (Dealer is about 200 miles north of here). Will post some pics when I get it installed.

I'm getting the XTR and the place I'm getting it from has pulled a set of rack tubes off of one they have in stock and sent them out to be powder coated satin black like the wheels (factory only offers silver tubes and the dealer offered to swap out a set for the cost of the powder coating...about $75-80). I'll post pics when I get it...hopefully on the 21st if all works out right.

A small rubber grommet would make that install look great I think.

Thanks for the idea...hole is just slightly larger than the cable and I hadn't cleaned it up...quick smooth out around the edges with a knife to de-bur and touch up the inside of the hole with a sharpie and you can'r even see it....still might do a grommet though (good idea) would have to slit it to install it as there is a connector on the cable end, but it would make it a really clean install. I'll put it on the to-do list....Thanks for the idea.

Finally got the time to do the LED Bed Lights in the shell. The front ones are fairly muted as the bed rug is thicker in front so it hides part of the strip. Ended up using a real small push button switch that is simply connected to the wire loom to the camper to turn them on and off. Makes one heck of a lot of light! Sorry for the crappy phone pic, but it was late and I had my phone with me.

I have to say I have nothing but good to say about the folks at Snugtop! I had to wait a couple extra weeks to get my top because they were not happy with their test paint....went through three suppliers and finally ordered factory paint from Toyota....mine was the first Inferno Top they ever did and they went to great lengths to get it right. The dealer pulled the top bars and had them powder coated black as the factory only does them silver....got a note from him that the factory asked for pics with the black bars, so they may be an option in the future.

Ground to center of the fender opening was pretty even when stock, now it is about 1/2" lower with the topper and bed rug installed. Parked on the flat it looks fairly level with maybe a tad bit of "squat" in the rear. If it does get much of the taco squat I may add airbags in the future...for now it seems fine. Then again it only has about 1500 miles on it.
