Anybody have any idea whether the 2015 double cab has the same nerf/running board mounting locations and geometry. In other words, mfr's havent quite caught up to the 2015, so accessories are scarce. I want steps, but nothing fits the 2015, but 2014 options are abundant.

I would imagine everything is the same as the 2014, etc.

If you have a nerf bar brand/product number in mind then I'd just call the vendor and double check. I've done this with other stuff that had a cut-off year of 2013 (i own a 2014) and they all said everything would fit fine.

I have nothing to go on but I'd bet a lot of money nothing has changed from my '06 to your '15 as far as mounting goes. You CAN find, let's say a 2010, and then get a tape measure, crawl underneath and then compare to your truck.

I just installed some go rhino bars and they fit up just fine on my 15. I ordered for a 2014. As a side note, I am taking them off, they flex a considerable amount.

I'd say they should be the same since 2005.

I have these http://www.rollingbigpower.com/steps-1/rx-3-steps-11.html and they don't flex a bit. Expensive yes but I think they're worth it. I got 20% off at AutoAnything so I paid $636.00.

No, they were the stainless ones. I think the mounting brackets are where the flex is coming from. Instead of a 1 piece design, they are really two piece design for each bracket.

    Any recommendations then?

I want nerfs, definitely looking for something bolt so no weld on sliders. i do mostly minor off roading, meaning established trails. The nerf bars are for looks, reaching the roof, and some slight protection from dings. Also want black in color. I think that would go with the black color of the truck.
