A/C will not turn off (not a defrost issue)

Got a new climate control console off ebay because I accidentally busted my old one, but the A/C will not turn off (including the light). Only cold air comes out no matter what position the knobs are on, including the defrost. I know there are no issues with my heater because it was working just fine last week.

I've searched everywhere and can't find anything with a cure for this that doesn't have to do with the defrost being on.

Does anyone have any insight with this? Do I have a faulty console? Thanks.

If everything worked until you changed out the controls I would say it's the new controls. Is it a simple plug and play?

Yeah, just plug in two wire harnesses to the back and it's done.

Yeah, if it's plug anand play and every thing worked before, I would suspect the new controls then. Was the one you bought a new control, or was it used?

Was it sold as is? You might be able to get your money back through eBay since it doesn't work. Do you know anyone with a tacoma? You could exchange out the controls just to make sure thats definitely the issue.

Thankfully I can return it. I know one person with a Tacoma. I'll see if I can swap it into this truck and see if it still does it. Sucks cause it's colder than crap this weekend lol.

    Thanks
