Body code?

Amazon, nicely lets you set your vehicle so that it will show you just things that fit it. The first couple entries were easy, but then I got this:

Mfr Body Code

A Manufacturer Body Code, sometimes referred to as a chassis code, is a part number for the frame of the vehicle. The chassis of one vehicle may be used in other vehicles and over different year ranges.
For example, the 2002 Honda Accord has six manufacturer body codes associated with it: CF8, CG1, CG2, CG3, CG5, and CG6.
This code is generally marked or stamped on the vehicle. The location of the marking varies by manufacturer.





Where is this "label" or, what is the code for a 2014 DCSB ?

I know in my old Honda the CG2 was a part of the VIN, i believe digits 2/3/4. Perhaps Toyota uses the same system?

Its listed in your owners manual with the Trailer weight ratings. My 2012 dcsb 4x4 is GRN245

The easiest way to find your Toyota vehicle's body code is by referring to the Certification Label along your driver's side door jamb. It will be the black and white sticker with the large horizontal barcode. Once you have identified the correct sticker, you can easily locate your Toyota vehicle's 7-character model code (a.k.a. "body code") in the line of text centered directly above the middle of that barcode. Hope that helps! Cheers!

 

So what is the body code for a 2012 trd sport 4x4 with tow package? I need it to purchase a primed rear bumper for my SR5. I hate chrome.

 

So I know this post was made forever ago, but if anyones still here... I decoded my VIN like the picture above said to & my MFR code isn't listed on Amazon... Am I dumb? Or is there a chance they don't have it listed
