Now if we can just get Biff to come over and wax it for us we'd be set.

Not in a TRD Pro...and for my own preference, I don't like the longer wheel base of the DCLB. Also I have a turn onto a bridge to get into my place and the longer wheelbase would cause issues with getting trailers and such across the bridge....

Dad had a Hilux (diesel I believe) when I was growing up. All six of us kids learned how to drive stick in it. I remember the odometer (km) going back to 0 before he dropped the engine and rebuilt it.

Gave up my 1981 SR5 5spd Regular Cab when we were expecting our first kid in 1985. Need for family friendly vehicles and series of overseas assignments kept me out of a truck until I retired from active duty 24 yrs later. My current truck was my active duty retirement present to myself. I got an access cab for the extra cab space and the rare occasion I need the jump seats for my grand kids. Had to choose between longbed or double cab ... DCLB won't fit in my garage.

Had a 95 extended cab Tacoma that I loved, just wish I had more space. Got the opportunity to get a '15 TRD Pro and jumped on it. Absolutely love my truck.

Owned a T100 with 280,000 miles that I absolutely loved. I sold it when I joined the Corps, bought my wife a Civic, and drove our POS Ford Focus for a couple years.

I finally couldn't take it anymore, told the wife I was buying another truck, sold the POS Focus, and found my baby.

2008 SuperWhite DCLB. She had 19,000 miles when I bought her in 2010, and the guy sold her to me for $20,000. He actually called me like a year and a half later and offered to buy her back from me for the same price. I guess that was when he realized I basically stole her from him. His loss.

I bought the Tacoma because I have always wanted one. I looked at F-150s because I do like Fords, but I couldn't justify a full size truck for my dog and I. Plus, I like how the Tacoma drives much better. It's more agile and the reliability of a Tacoma is second to none. A Tacoma will keep going even after the frame rusts out from under it haha.

I Wanted something I can depend on for a very long time. I also feel good about their reliability, knowing I have a vehicle that most likely will not nickel and dime me. Also love how they look, and everything else about them. I'm still excited every time I get behind the wheel.

After a series of Subaru Outback H6s (Great cars), Last one got totaled and I wanted something a little newer and didn't like the 2010+ Outbacks (basically crossovers) as much as the lifted wagons of '09 and prior.

Also found myself wishing I had a truck from time to time.

Four coworkers have Tacomas and all love them. So, I searched for one. Found my 2011 and am very happy.

skiergd011013, where abouts in Western MA? I'm in the Pittsfield area...not too many on here from around here.

Me too. After 12 years and 120K the Ranger started getting expense. Just the emergency repairs were 2K a year. I loved that old truck, but now it lives on in the Internet http://66.147.244.152/~georgeo4/silvertank/

Now if my old truck was a classic Taco, well that would have been another story. What child of the 80's doesn't want this in their garage

I'll probably see your truck around sometime then...of course there are plenty of clones to it!

I have the only DCLB TRD Sport in Pyrite Mica that I've seen around here so far.

Mine is metallic black (black sand pearl right?) Theres not too many of them around here. I know of one or two black access cab TRD OR in the area. One of them is a guy I went to school with. It seems like theres a ton of silvers and MGM's around here. Im glad I have a semi-unique one. I'm sure I have probably seen yours around at some point. I stare at every tacoma I see haha.

Wanted a Tacoma since I was 16...leaving the military this summer I was moving, had the money, figured this would be the time to get one if ever. Now I'm pretty sure I'll always have a Taco. Shouldn't have waited 17 years....
