Too fast for conditions? Such little visible exterior damage.
Consider buying it back from the insurance company if they ttl it.

    I'd bet it's not totalled. a 2013 with 30k miles is still worth $23k+

Each side airbag is $740 brand new OEM at Village Toyota Parts, so about $1500 for the set. It adds to the repair cost, but not as much as you think.

Honestly going 30 mph..... the recent moisture in the area and the temperature dropping has made it super slick... i drive that road every day to work just not that early in the morning......

From the pictures it looks like there is very minimal exterior damage... Maybe a fender and a mirror... Even with the expensive airbag repairs it shouldn't be totaled, should it? 2013's are still worth quite a bit

Maybe just an extra safety precaution Toyota has in 2013's

Yes its totaled in the sense insurance companies do in fact total the car if the air bags deployed even if the damage is light. That said, Tacos retain so much value that they may repair a 2013 instead of writing it off. A 2103 F150 would be totaled out. Hopefully they repair it.

No, they don't. Insurance companies repair vehicles all the time that have the air bags deployed

I am in the industry and the policy is not to repair them. I am not sure where you are getting your info.

to save money, the seat has a weight sensor that turns off the airbar so it wont go off if no one is sitting there

Not true any more. Remember front air bags are as much as 5 grand for the parts only. Add in the damage it takes to set one off and its a 10 grand repair.
