Im goind to order 5100s some time this week. ive been looking around at tires and like the 265s and the 285s, but like the look of the 255s. The only thing is everyone that has these tires has 3" lift. With the 5100s and rear aal, i will have about 2.5". i was wondering if this will work, or any problems with this setup (a lot of trimming?). I plan on using my stock 16 rims.

    Thanks for the help

    ps: Please post pics!!!!

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
i've never really heard of anybody using this tire size, i'd be interested to know too.

    i run that tire size...but i have an 02...

i did have to do some pinch weld hammering and some fender liner trimming to reduce rubbing...but i still get some when im fully flexed out or flexed and turning

im not real sure how much lift i have
