    Yeah no shit!! Still have the old part. Would love to see if I could clean it and sell it!

    Did you guy misread it? Soap can only clean out (easier) gum, carbon ash. Soaking just make it easier for the job. I test it by flashing light before and after cleaning. Cat is just a pipe with precious metal screen(like window screen). Try it before u spend big $, up to u. I just try to help. Under normal conditions, cat should last a life time of the truck. Hey very thing needs to be cleaned anyway.
