front diff breather weeping oil

08 DC LB 4x4 sport

While looking under the hood of my 08 Tacoma the other day I noticed some oily residue coming from what looks like the diff breather. There are 2 breathers side by side, and one of them has been weeping oil. Is this normal? Is the other breather for the transfer case?
