    Do dents and scratches count?
So, long story short. Had an entire beer spilled under the passenger seat of my truck. This happened just before I had to head out on the boat for two weeks. I will be back home in a couple of days and am going to tackle cleaning this mess up.
What carpet shampoo do you guys use?
Do you suggest removing the seat and pulling the carpet.?
I plan on shampooing the seats while I am at it.

Any and all advice is appreciated.

That's a thought. But, with Christmas coming I would like to keep the cost down.

Best way would be to pull carpet and clean under it and clean the carpet. Saturate the carpet with water and soap a few times.

If you cant take the carpet out, try and get just that section of carpet rolled up so you can clean under it as well as you can while also cleaning the carpet well.

There is a product called OdorXit. Can only get it online. Its an enzyme cleaner that works wonders. After cleaning I would liberally spray the area down. It will eliminate any odor that might come from that area. It may need more applications if you don't get it all. It works so well it eliminates vomit and cat urine odors.

I use a Bissell little green clean machine with woolite steam machine cleaner, I use it on all of my vehicles as well as my boat carpets. You'll be surprised at what comes up out of your seats and carpet....looks like coffee!

I was just looking at these online. Looks like a pretty cool little unit. I think I will give this a try along with a decent enzyme cleaner afterwards. The last thing I need is some of the yeast in that beer festering when the warm weather hits. I am lucky this happened in winter!

bleech? really wouldnt that ruin the carpet? 1 thing i can say for sure DO NOT USE OXICLEAN! i tried that on carpet and i had to pull the carpet and literally run water through it ALL DAY to get the OXICLEAN out so it would stop making suds.

i used a cleaner before i got at auto-zone, i cant remember the brand, but it has a light blue bottle, comes out like foam. works well and also worked in the house too.
