    Bone Stock.
    Does the 5-Speed manual in the 4-cyl version of the Tacoma suck as bad as the manual in the V6? Does it have the same durability issues?

    No. Different transmissions. No known systemic reliability issues with the 4cyl 5 speed combo.

    Eh - except squeaky clutch pedal. Pretty much everyone gets that eventually. But it doesn't seem to hurt anything.

    2004 Tacoma DCSB & 1980 Toyota Pickup 4WD
    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    I had a 2011, great transmission, the clutch is pretty weak though but that can be fixed. The trans itself is awesome, no problems at all and I had mine for 55k miles before I got my 04.
