I want to know if the Bilstein 5160 will be over extended with that setup when wheeling.

I'm running NW Offroad HD Replacement Leaf Springs on the rear with no issues on my '13 TRD Baja DC SB.

Got about 2" of lift vs the stock springs.

I'm planning to just remove a leaf from the Dakar so the rear lift will be around 2.5". Not planning to do anything to the front at this point. I am expecting a slight rake, but hopefully the weights from rear plate bumper, armor skids and sliders will keep it to a minimal.

I thought about air bags. But you can't really run them when off in the trials.

I didn't change anything in the front......so i went from the front end being slightly higher than the rear end when stock, to now the rear end being 1"-2" higher.

The stock rear springs wouldn't carry any weight at all.

Now I can put 500+ pounds in the bed without the nose pointing straight up.

dakars are stiff.... unless you have 300-500 LBS in the bed at all times your probably not going to like the ride.

Buddy has a TX Pro that he had dakars on that he switched out for all pro standard packs, about the same amount of lift but the all pro packs are much more progressive and softer.

    Wouldn't bags affect articulation?

Depends on lift and whether you use your rear sway bar but for the most part it doesn't effect it, just air down the bags so they can stretch and compress with the suspension.

if you are going to do any sort of flexing with bags, get the daystar cups... that stated i dont think they compress to the same thickness as the stock bumpstops and will probably limit uptravel.
