I have not had any recalls done on my vehicle. I think all of them were bullshit except the spiral cable, but do not have any airbag lights come on so I just said forget it.

That's just plain lazy it costs you nothing but a little time could save your life or damage to your truck. If you have ignored the notice and have an issue Toyota will not give you the time of day.

    This is hilarious!

Did I read the title right. You want to see who has a tacoma, without a single recall?

That's fricken funny cause I wonder if there is a single model?

I studied quality control for some time. It was generally accepted, without proof but did seem to fit with experience, that for each defect discovered in a product before shipping, there are twenty additional defects that will be later found by customers.

I'm not saying that's true. And there are a lot of qualifications to the statement. But it feels true and makes one think.

    LOLOL

Yeah wow, that's really thoughtful of other people and yourself? Mine is a 2015 so I don't know if there are any. But if there are, I will bring it right in. Because to me I put everyone else first. Including other drivers and their families.

Mmm, I get them done. I figure if Toyota is looking to avoid major lawsuits for safety reasons, I'll get the free fix. The only really bogus one to me was the shaved gas pedal. The brake override is standard now, so I figured I'd update my '06 access cab with the newer tech. What the hell, they're free, and may make your truck a little safer. The unfortunate thing is if they were building them right in the first place, we wouldn't be getting all these notices.

OP ... You are being sarcastic, true? If not, do you know that recalls are free and increase your truck's resale value? Also, you do know that they are to fix mistakes in design or quality. Do you really enjoy driving a mistake?

pedal hack job was total BS. I fought dealer and Toyota Corp over it. Totally unnecessary and made an already small pedal smaller. In the end I won. I got my TSBs done without cutting the pedal. This was on my 2009. Wish I could have swapped when I bought the 2013.

Ya and give me some new paper thin all weather mats for the thick ones I bought and still use when I first bought the truck. There is no interference problems at all with these.

Because some people managed to get the gas pedal jammed they did that. So now you rear end some one it's your dime no suing Toyota over that, your choice. You don't have to do any of this stuff but you do have to live with the concusses if some thing goes wrong. Why did you let them replace the clock spring that sounds like a frivolous thing shoot the only thing that might go wrong your air bag might not go off and save your life.

That could be true, and also another QC concept say's any defect eliminated during development/design is far cheaper to the company than those found during product testing phases. And defects fixed during the testing phase are still many, many times cheaper to the company than when they get passed on into the production units and out to customers.

Now if they're giving out new 4 leaf packs for replacement of the 3packs then we will be talking. But seeing all the other recalls I highly doubt thats gonna happen.
