So Ive ordered a set of bedsides and fenders from glassworks unlimited back in November and have had very little contact with anyone from there. They claim that my items already bought and paid for have been shipped out December 3rd but I have not received them yet nor has anyone been able to provide me with any further shipping information, tracking number, etc...

anyone else have these issues? or have any idea on how to get them to return any of my attempts to reach them?

only way I have been able to get ahold of anyone there is call from a different number with a different area code than mine.... kinda funny how that worked I think anyways. When I did speak to them, two days ago, they couldn't provide me with any sort of shipping information other than we shipped it out December 3rd and that would call me back with tracking information and that it must be a issue with UPS. I haven't received a call back from them now for two days.

anyone live local to them? Huntington Beach, CA

Im at a stand still here and would like to give them the benefit of the doubt but the way things have been handled thus far I don't think I can.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!!!

Agreed something does sound fishy.... I could see that but they said 4-5 business days and they claim it shipped the 3rd and no tracking info provided ever. Just the word of Glassworks

I work with UPS on a constant basis, there's a tracking number issued whenever you print from your commercial account (MyUPS or Worldship) that's available in your shipping history for a very long time. Either they're full of crap, they're incredibly lazy, or you just got TopGunned.

I'd call your CCCo. asap and file a claim. I ship and receive packages all day long and thus far I've not experienced any backlogs or holiday delays with UPS. Finding a tracking number that's 2 weeks old is literally a 60 second task.

    Sup.. :spy:

Not questioning the integrity of what I understand to be a pretty well known company, but just speaking on 2 decades worth of commercial UPS shipping experience.. even if they were doing hand written labels from a UPS logbook it's still a matter of turning pages. The more automated shipping programs they offer are easier to use than gmail, which is nearly retardedly easy to use. There has to be some reason that they can't/won't provide tracking info, because if the item has shipped as they say, then the tracking information was automatically generated for that shipment and it's in their shipping history.

This is business as usual for Glassworks. They make the best fiberglass in the business, but they have the worst business practices.

I work with UPS on a daily basis as well and have always been provided with all tracking info and anything to do with the shipment right away. I cant understand either why a company big or little wouldn't want to speak with the customer/client about their business transactions

In my experience, all of the glass companies cater to the race crowd and have poor customer service to the individual buyer. If you don't have a big name....good luck getting good service. This is one of those things that it's better to pay Kartek or Polyperformance to handle instead of ordering direct.

that's the thing... parts have been all ordered by a body shop, which the insurance company has paid for. Im trying to hold the insurance company off... giving them the benefit of the doubt but at this point Im about ready to give my insurance all their contact info and let them deal with it in the courts. Especially since they don't seem willing to do the right thing and at least contact myself or the body shop back.

this sounds 100% like my McNeil Racing issue. Same thing, same outcome. Being ignored and no tracking information.

    Very Frustrated.

Glassworks has been like this for a while, SDHQ wont sell their products and what it looks like is they dont care about you unless you live in california... or are a part of a race team.

Fiberwerx, Fiberwerx, Fiberwerx. Seem's like the only company that can make and ship fiberglass in a timely manner.

This is not uncommon with Glassworks. Even us as a bigger company get fake tracking #'s, lies after lies about shipments and orders. And then once we got some of our order, they were wrong.

    Sounds like Glassworks typical nonsense.

I ordered front and rear fiberglass from them a few years ago, 2 separate orders and both times was charged instantly then told wait 2 weeks for products.

2 weeks goes buy after hearing nothing from them and them ignoring my calls, I get ahold of them and they say its been done for days.. blah blah,,

So I drive up from San Diego only to discover no one is even there for 2 more hours although they were expecting me.

Had to wait as they "Finished" up the work before I could take them.

both times was the same bullshit, then after all this the owner tries to charge my credit card a third time and it gets blocked.. Shady business.. I always recommend going elsewhere.

All the glass I did get was supposed to be little to no excess trimming too. Not a chance..
