If I could have done the same write off schedule with a 4Runner as I can with the Taco I would have bought one vs a Taco Pro with a shell! The runners are nicer inside and actually quieter due to no TRD exhaust. They are a very sweet ride! Still would have gotten the Inferno color though as I really like the color.

Yes they do, so you get to pay all that over inflated money and get the same issues as us peasants. Although I could be wrong because it is a Limited series and they want to get top dollar. They probably cared about those trucks, and said screw everyone else. Gotta love a car company that really gives 2 shits about customer loyalty.

I agree, I wish I hadn't dumped so much $$ into my Tacoma. I actually like the 4Runner more than my Tacoma. I'm leaning towards the white 4Runner however, I also think the Inferno looks awesome too. What do you guys think?

They just have more insulation and newer/quieter design.

LOL. Living somewhere that sees a lot of snow, salted roads would have been a deal breaker to getting my truck. Kinda screwed up that I asked a couple higher ups at Gulf States Toyota if the tacoma still had frame issues, they said no. I guess time will tell.

    LOL

    stock offroad=34,000 and a trd pro=40,000
trd pro has the trd exhaust, wheels and tires, better coil springs and shocks, blacked out badges, color matched goodies and hood skewp. Thats worth 6,000 to me. This is a very nice truck and the best Tacoma ever built in my opinion. Why is everybody hating on this thing? It’s like the best of the sport and the offroad combined with added offroad capabilities. I personally love it and think it’s better looking then the 2016 model.

i got my stock offroad for 34k OUT THE DOOR..... the pro you will be lucky to get for 42k out the door.... thats at LEAST 8k in markup over the trd OR. Thats full long travel, any rims and tires you want and still have money left over.

You could of bought a base Tacoma, put in a rear locker, and aftermarket suspension for 34k. Hell, you could buy a used Tacoma for 15, and put a full race kit on it and be under 20.

    Different strokes man.
