I prefer the Weathertech rubber floor mats in my truck. And when I put a hole through them they gave me a new set at super discount and free shipping. The WTs in the T4R are a solid fit. I approve of WT

I haven't read though all the responses so please forgive me if this has already been stated...

Perhaps the carpet isn't installed exactly right and the locating pins are pulling the driver side line off center. I have a sneaking suspicion that the carpet in my 2015 is shifted to the right about 1/2". The passenger side floor mat is tight to the trim panel under the door but the driver side mat has a 1/2" gap between the trim and the edge.

I have a set of all weather mats on order from the dealer (the VP gave me a $250 dealer credit because I had some issues after purchase and the mgmt staff did a piss poor job of handling them) so I'll see if they position in the same way.

    Just a thought...

The toyota all weather mats don't last very long. The bed mat however is very nice.

For what it's worth its been relatively cold in Alabama the past 3 days and the gap between my driver front WeatherTech mat and the kick garnish around the dead pedal area had grown to almost an inch.

I took it out of the truck, used a blow dryer to warm that area for a few minutes until hot to the touch, then placed a heavy book on that area (smashing it flat) for about 3 minutes.

    Zero gap now.

Holy Shit - I bought my WT's second hand and had been completely happy with them until this thread. I went out and looked just now - I'll be dammned if I can't see a sliver of space around the kick panel interface.

I swear I could almost fit a stack of 4-5 playing cards in there.

I'm glad this thread exists to let me know that I should have been upset and appalled all this time.

I get so angry when I find out I've been not caring about something, but should have been worried about it all along. Now that I'm concerned, I'm much happier.

PS - the huskys I had in my last truck didn't fit worth a damn - I didn't bitch about them either.

I'm considering starting a thread to judge the scale of this issue, if we get enough people on board, hopefully we can force them into a recall of the cab. I want a whole new truck though, I paid a lot of money to those greedy, lying bastards.

So our concept is a replacement cab that will fit our Weather Techs ... I like it!

I think it's justified. If the WeatherTech's were too big it'd be one thing, but too small? I don't want a bigger truck, and I don't want Toyota making my truck bigger without my approval. I bet they did it after my first oil change, come to think of it.
